, let us know which one, and we'll direct you to the appropriate pledge leader. This is a *great way to kick-off a more sustainable 2010*! With that, here are your pledge opportunities: 1. I pledge to make a worm bin for my home or apartment. (Worm bin plans and materials will be collected and we will plan a worm bin building day!) 2. I pledge to buy nothing new for a month. (excludes food and toiletries) 3. I pledge to increase my use of reusable bags and help others do the same. I will do this by making a reusable bag, giving a bag to a friend, placing a reusable bag in a handy spot so I remember to use it more, or by committing to take no new paper or plastic bags for an entire month (even if I forget to bring my reusable bag with me!). 4. I pledge to promote waste reduction for a month in my home or in my apartment building. 5. I pledge to go on a Low Car Diet for a month, minimizing my use of my personal vehicle. 6. I pledge to take the City of Seattle's One Ton Challenge to reduce my carbon footprint. Again, if you'd like to take one of the pledges or to learn more about each pledge, e-mail
