The following eco-fraud groups must be pissing vinegar right about now. Pacific Coast Federation of Fishermen's Associations Klamath Forest Alliance, Felice Pace Institute for Fisheries Resources, Northcoast Environmental Center, The Wilderness Society, Sierra Club, Golden Gate Audubon, Oregon Natural Resources Council, Earthjustice Legal Defense Fund in Seattle. Why? Because the people of Klamath Basin are defying them. The above eco-fraud groups sued the BLM to shut off the water diversion to the farmers of Klamath Basin this year. 240,000 acres of land, including habitat of many animals and birds, been placed at risk of desertificaiton for the lack of water. Crops have been destroyed already, livestock has been auctioned off, and people have been forced to sell land and farms that have been in their families for generations. Why? Because the above eco-fraud groups made specious claims about fish being endangered and invoked the Endangered Species Act. Well, in the last few days, the farmers have struck back. In peaceful, non-violent acts of defiance, they have turned the water back on without permission in an act of defiance. Not once, but twice. The feds (BLM) are trying to decide what to do about it, especially in light of the fact that the turning on of the water occurred in full sight of both county and Klamath Falls Police Department officers, which did nothing to stop the re-diversion of water. If the Bureau of Reclamation closes it, we will come and open it again , one member of the group said, It's our water, it was given to us by the government, then we paid for it, worked for it, we have the right to get it back. Like Jarbridge, NV, a blow against the tyranny of the environmentalists has been struck. Even if it ultimately fails, and the US Marshals enforces the water shutoff to the farmers, the left is put on notice that this period of acquiesce tot he tyranny is coming to a close. See:

We all know that most farmers are not living like high-rollers or making an awful lot of money. On the other hand, being a professional eco-fraud is rather lucrative. Here's a salary list, originally extracted from the Congressional Record (http://www.klamathbasincrisis.org/environorgsexposed-5-08.htm), about how how much these pious frauds are making. Source:
http://www.klamathbasincrisis.org/ecoactivistsalaries.htm: The salary of the National Wildlife Federation top executive, Mr. Mark Van Putten, was nearly a quarter of a million dollars last year. This represents a 17 percent raise over his salary the year before. If you were among those who sent in a $25 contribution to this group, do you realize it took over 10,000 of you contributing in order just to pay his salary? World Wildlife Fund president, Kathryn Fuller, was $241,000. National Audubon Society president, John Flicker, was $240,000. Natural Resources Defense Council director, John Adams, was $239,000. Wilderness Society president was $204,000. Defenders of Wildlife president and CEO was $201,000. Earth Justice Legal Defense Fund president, Buck Parker, was $157,000. Sierra Club's Carl Pope's salary was $138,000 in 1998 and listed as $199,577 in 1999, nearly a 50 percent raise. I wonder how much they are paying DickBoy? Or is the fool carrying their water for nothing, like a good little useful idiot.
