Date: Sun, 19 May 1996 23:01:21 -0700 Subject: Oriental Chicken Salad I am looking for a salad recipe (I think it was called Oriental Chicken Salad) that I had at a restaurant in Mesa, Arizona called Sweet Tomatoes. This salad consisted of greens, small pieces of marinated chicken, a few grated carrots and onions. I think the dressing contained soya sauce and grated ginger. Needless to say this salad was wonderful and I would appreciate hearing from anyone who could provide me with the ingredients for the dressing. Thanks so much. Hoping to hear from you. Email as well as posting here. ~~~~~~~~~ From:

(JOEL A VOTAW) Date: 19 May 1996 23:38:01 GMT Subject: Lamb Stew with Red Wine A few years back a friend cooked for me a lamb stew using red wine and rosemary and little else. If anyone has a recipe along these lines, or any similar kind of lamb stew recipe (or any lamb stew at all!), I'd be very thankful for it. Thanks in advance, ~~~~~~~~~ From:

(Jeff Alsberg) Date: Sun, 19 May 1996 16:00:25 GMT Subject: Using Pasta Machine I have lost the manual for my pasta machine (pasta Express by CTC). This is one of the electric machines where you toss in ingredients and pasta extrudes out the front. I would really like to make spinach pasta in particular, but if you have any recipes which are tasty I am always willing to experiment with new morsels. Please email me with any good pasta news in addition to posting here for the group. ~~~~~~~~~ From: Trace Computing <

Date: 19 May 1996 14:50:17 GMT Subject: Chocolate Covered Strawberries I am trying to make chocolate covered strawberries, but with no success. I figured this was a fairly simple thing to do. I have dipped the strawberries in Hershey's chocolate, but after they freeze, the chocolate is really thin, and you can see right through the chocolate. How do I get a nice thick chocolate on the strawberries? Thanks.. ~~~~~~~~~ From:

(WWWindy) Date: 18 May 1996 23:28:13 -0400 Subject: 7-up Jello Salad I'm really not sure what the name is, but I've lost my recipe. As I remember, you use raspberry jello, 7-up or ginger ale and some kind of fruit (cranberries, lemon zest, nuts) and maybe even apricot nectar. See, I'm really confused. Thanks in advance.
